We are the UK Civil Reserve (UKCR) – we aim to be the go-to organisation for the provision of additional first responders in the event of a major national, regional or local emergency.
We will support and bolster the resilience work of the UK emergency services, the Military and the volunteer sector and we salute them for their dedication and diligence.
The UK Civil Reserve (UKCR) is a strategic civilian reserve that aims to support national resilience. We will bridge the gap between the Civil, Military and Voluntary sectors to relieve pressure on the UK’s national critical infrastructure.
Our reservists will be contracted, trained and enabled professionals who will be ready to deploy to assist in any emergency or crisis incident – anywhere in the UK, at any time, every day of the year.

UKCR will be offering training
We will soon be offering a resilience course run by an experienced team of resilience experts. The course will be run over a couple of days and will train our students in First Aid (specific to emergency response), chain saw skills and drone operation skills, for example. We will be piloting our training on our existing core team beginning with chain saw skills over the winter – so tune into our social media channels for photos. Watch this space for future training opportunities and dates. We fully believe that training and upskilling individuals is the key to ensuring resilient communities for the future.
