A former officer in the Coldstream Guards, and a long time banker, working in equity finance and prime services for SBC Warburg, UBS, Lehman Bros and Goldman Sachs, Jonathon has led multiple projects from the setting up of Maersk in Afghanistan, to the establishment of the UK Government’s Covid Surge Rapid Response Teams.

Jonathon is an established UK and International Responder having worked in Mozambique and The Bahamas after Cyclone Idai and Hurricane Dorian respectively, the Yorkshire floods and helped with multiple projects during Covid.

He agreed to come on board with UKCR after recognising the essential mismatch between the stated aims, funding models and policies espoused by alternative agencies, and through recognising the importance of a national agency that worked with Government rather than in parallel.
